Injectable Fillers
One of the earliest signs of aging is a loss of facial fullness and the development of expression lines. Injectable fillers can restore this loss of volume.
Injectable fillers can be used alone or in conjunction with anti wrinkle injections to plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, and soften facial creases and wrinkles. The result is a smoother, fuller and more youthful facial appearance.
We use a synthetically produced hyaluronic acid filler, which is a substance that is usually present in our skin but becomes depleted with the ageing process and with sun exposure.
There can be some initial swelling as the hyaluronic acid draws in water, but this will usually settle after a few days. The effects of the fillers can last up to 6 months
For wrinkles which need more bulk or for a more permanent effect, we may recommend fat grafting by injection, and will sometimes combine these.
